You’ll find lots of kids at NorthPark Church. And we love it that way! Their spiritual growth and development are a top priority for us. In a safe and loving environment, NorthPark strives to make church both fun and meaningful for young people.
On Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. during the school year, NorthPark's Children ministry offers a small group/large group environment for first through sixth graders called 252 Basics! This program uses Bible stories, a core virtue and a memory verse each month while offering engaging presentations of the three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
King’s Kids is for kindergarten- through sixth-grade-age children. Each Sunday morning, they are dismissed from worship immediately before the sermon to go to the Celebration Center. The monthly virtues taught each Wednesday evening in 252 Basics are reinforced during this learning time.
Each June, NorthPark Church participates in state youth camps located at Camp Dixon in Neshoba County, Mississippi. It is a wonderful rural setting with camping, fishing, boating and other great outdoor activities. There are camps for children who have completed grades three through five, six through eight and nine through 12. This time is always a wonderful growth opportunity for our young people. Contact Pastor Kay Stewart for more information.
